DAY 1 Longton to Ribchester 19 miles |

Funds will be put towards replacing our cooking kit so that we can keep the Beavers and Cubs fed on camp, and the Scouts can continue to cook for themselves.
Preparation
All the kit ready to go in two backpacks – tent, clothes, food, water carriers, sleeping bags & mats, maps, hats, waterproofs, utensils, bowls, mugs, stove & fuel!
Last of the training took place 10th to 16th July on the Scottish West Coast!
The Ribble Way
The Ribble Way is a 73 mile path from the near the mouth to the source of the River Ribble, rising to 551 m above sea level, with a total ascent of 1711 m. Our #ribblechallenge is to walk it in 5 days carrying all the kit needed.
